BAD ASS INSTALL!
First the whole suburban was silenced with Dynamat Extreme.
Next a subfloor was added to have something flat to mount everything to.
The drawer was painted to match the truck. this is the drawer motor and housing.
MDF Boxes were then made to mount the fiberglass pods to.
Zack preps the woofers for installation on the pods.
All three Peices are ready to be mounted in the back of the suburban.
The speaker enclosures had to be an unusual shape because the rear AC is to be retained.
A Gap was left between the enclosures to run wiring for the amps.
Clearance between the screens and the woofers was less then an inch, whew!
The drawer was added and the amps were mounted at an angle to display them better.
Push a button on the remote, the drawer with the spare comes out.
Sure is nice when everything works right the first time.
Push another button and the spare dissappears, f'ing cool.
ALL DONE!
